Iwo Jima: US Marine Corps War Memorial

When I came to Washington DC as a teenager with my parents, I bought a post card of this statue, but I don't think we actually saw it.  And when I took the kids to Arlington National Cemetery a few months ago, we didn't make it to this area.  So I was excited today when B was driving us in to DC to drop us off for a few hours and he stopped here first.  I thought the statues would be life sized and was surprised by how big it is.
