Piano Recital

The kids' piano teacher had a little recital (combined with another piano teacher) at a retirement home.  Buddy was adamant that he didn't want to be in it.  We let him skip it this time, just going to watch Princess Sparkley so that he'll know what it's like next time when we make him do it.  Princess Sparkley was very excited.  She played two songs: "Jiffy" and "Skipping Frogs."  She did great.  She's only been taking lessons a few months.

Rockstar Little Guy Not in the Bathtub

Little Guy is doing fabulously with potty-training this week, hence the underpants and no real pants in this clip. Apologies.
"The World We Live In" by The Killers
(real lyrics: "This is the world that we live in, It's not too late for that.")

Weezer's "Unspoken"
(real lyrics: Every chance that I get
I am placing a bet
On the sun in the sky
As it sets out of sight
And I hate what you do
When your poison seeps through
And you're laughing at me

And if you take this away from me
I'll never forgive you, can't you see?
Our life will be broken
Our hate will be unspoken.)

Rock Star: Little Guy

Trying to catch Little Guy singing along to "Can You Find It?" on Here Come the ABCs by the band They Might Be Giants.

Little Guy was taking a bath the other night when he started singing a Weezer song in the bathtub. Awesome. What he's singing is, "Our life will be broken, our hate will be unspoken" from the song "Unspoken." He got shy once I turned the camera on and I couldn't get him to sing as loud or as much as he was before I got the camera out.

Rock Concert

Our kids love when we put on The Killers concert cd. They sing along, acquire rock star personas and it's all hilarious.
