Hiccups

Buddy: Dad, does anyone in our family have the hiccups right now?
B: Uh, I don't think so. Do you?
Buddy: Yeah, I was just wondering who I got them from.
B: [chuckles] You don't get hiccups that way Buddy...
Buddy: Yes you do.

I used to think the same thing when I was little! My dad used to pull out a quarter and tell us that if we hiccuped we could get the quarter. We would stare at the quarter and try to hiccup, but usually never could. He usually gave us the quarter anyway.
Tell Buddy that I still think that they are contagious, like yawns!
