In front of an old timey train. My camera takes horrible pictures indoors in dimly lit places.
This is my best estimate of where Grandma and Grandpa L live on this aerial photograph of the great Los Angeles area. We'll have to have B take a look at it and see how accurate I was.
Buddy with an old timey car.
Riding Chicago's "L" train.
A five story doll house.
Buddy acting as our Commander in Chief.
PS as President.
Me at Julia Child's kitchen (pardon my expression, PS was having difficulty manning the camera).
Butter left to pay tribute to Julia Child (like in the book and movie, Julie and Julia). Although I'm pretty sure this box was empty.
PS with Dorothy's slippers.
The ruby slippers (which were silver in the book, but as PS read on the sign, were red in the movie so they would show up on the yellow brick road).
Nastia Liukin's leotard.
PS, Kermit and Baby X.
C3PO (see that look on Buddy's face... can you tell this was the end and he was ready to be done).
We skipped some exhibits because we only had two hours, so we'll have to go back again.
To sum it up:
Princess Sparkley's favorite things: the First Ladies' inauguration gowns, Dorothy's Slippers, C3PO and Nastia Liukin's Olympic gymnastic leotard.
Buddy's favorite things: the models of boats, the pretend "L" we got to ride on, C3PO, the Star-Spangled Banner* and riding the Metro to get there and back.
Baby X's favorite things: Kermit the frog, the 5 story doll house, the Star-Spangled banner, riding the "L" and riding the Metro.
My favorite things: Julia Child's kitchen, Dorothy's slippers, Fonzie's leather jacket, the Star-Spangled banner, and the inauguration gowns.

"Who was Fonzie?! Don't they teach you anything in school? He freed the squares!" -- Homer Simpson, explaining why Fonzie's jacket is in an American history museum
You are doing so many great things. Is there a pair of ruby slippers in KS too?
I just noticed the picture at the top with your blog title. Nice work- to both of you. I'd like to see the "after" picture too!
