Baby X is still in his PJs from last night because he slept through all of church at home. He's to the point in his babyhood where he can't just fall asleep at church like he could as a baby... but he desperately needs to. So a few weeks ago, he was still asleep for his morning nap (we have 1PM church) and B decided he'd just stay home until Baby X woke up and then walk to church (we live about 1/2 a mile from church and own one car). It worked out fine and B and Baby X arrived at church about 30 minutes after the rest of us. He thought he'd do the same thing today, except Baby X didn't wake up until after 3:20PM, 40 minutes until church got out so B decided to stay home rather than walk to church at get there just in time to get in the car and come home. Silly Baby X. I'm transitioning him from two naps a day, to one long nap a day and apparently today he really needed some sleep.

If we were the [unnamed family from our ward], we could have just left him home alone while the rest of us went to church.
