Memorial Day Fun

We spent our early afternoon at some friend's parent's house with the kids playing on a giant water slide/bounce house contraption.  Then the late afternoon/early evening was spent at our ward Memorial Day picnic at the Relief Society president's house.  The kids remember the slip and slide hill from last year so wore their bathing suits this year.

Little Guy insisted on going with Princess Sparkley, and she was a great big sister helping him out.  The problem was their different weights and speeds made it so they never ended up going down next to each other, holding hands until the bottom, which is what Little Guy wanted.  So his lip came out and he was very sad at the end of the first few times.  Then we went with PS's friend A and had fun.  Then he started going down on his own, just waiting in line by PS, and had a great time.

A lady in our ward (I.D.) took these pictures and posted them on Facebook.  Little Guy is so grumpy in his picture because that was one of the times he insisted on holding PS's hand until the bottom and they became separated. This was early on.  Fifty slides later he was perfectly thrilled to go down the slide alone.
