Carving Pumpkins with the cousins

Baby X's was hard as a rock... I couldn't even get more than the tip of a huge kitchen knife into it... so we drew the face on.

Buddy wanted his to be a fireman just like him so we brought this plastic hat we got at a restaurant a few months ago to dress his pumpkin up with.


Gutting the pumpkin. This grosses my kids out. Cousin G ended up pulling all the seeds out of Buddy's pumpkin for him.

Originally, PS had wanted a cat on her pumpkin, but then she got carried away with the marker and made hers into a princess. So B carved a cat on the extra pumpkin.

G is piglet (a last minute change from being Olivia the pig).
And S is Annakin Skywalker.
