First Bath

His belly button sort of fell off in the wee hours of Sunday morning, but it was still a little gross looking so I waited for it to heal up for a bath.

He does not like the clear binkies very much.

He does not like the bouncer without lights so far.

He likes looking out windows.

He likes the black chair next to the window.

He like starring at the back of the car.

He likes the Cougar Fight Song.

He won't sleep if he is not bundled up.

He rolled over EARLY!

He likes to stare.

He likes to keep moving.

He is LOUD and annoying when he cries.

If he is asleep and your arms are tired put him in the swing.

He also likes the bouncer if he is asleep.

He does not like the hard floor.

He likes being called marshmallow.  I think.

Goodbye Station Wagon

 It finally got to the point where it was no longer worth it to put in the money to keep fixing this car up.  And although it does seat 7 (8 if we wanted to stick a kid up front between the driver and passenger), we weren't looking forward to a kid always being in the backwards facing seats.  It was time to say goodbye.  We bought this car in Ventura, CA in September 2002 when Princess Sparkley was one month old.  Since then it has seen just a bit of the country.

 Our station wagon had been to 27 states and the District of Columbia.

And after *only* 5 hours at the dealership, we are now the owners of an 8 passenger Honda Pilot. Black wasn't our color of choice, but it was the only color they had in stock of the low end Pilot.  We're debating names... right now it looks like it'll be Darth something.

Two Weeks

2 weeks - 8/31/12

Finally got Buddy to hold him again.

Little Guy wanted to sit by Mystery Baby for prayers this morning.


Stats from his 2 week check-up.
height: 21 3/4 inches   (90%)
weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz. (50%)
head: 38 1/2 (75%)

Milestones: belly button fell off 9/2/12 (still a little healing to happen)
First real bath: 9/4/12
